My mom and I have a tradition of watching certain shows together during the week. At any given time during the year, you will find me on my parents' couch once or twice a week. There are so many good shows coming up, that I will have to be choosy...or else I'll be there every night! For now, we've been watching American Idol, which just started up again last night. Some of our other favourites are Grey's Anatomy, Lost, and So You Think You Can Dance. Luckily, a few of these are on the same night, so we just make a whole evening of it. Our TV nights are starting to get quite the reputation...so I just wanted to thank my Dad for giving up his spot on the couch to his daughter every so often.

That sounds like fun. It's things like that I miss. I guess it's the price I pay for living so far from family.
I think it's so cool that you and your mom do that. I'm not a fan of American Idol (or any reality shows really) but I'm just itching for Lost to start up again next week!
I enjoyed American Idol two seasons ago, but completely missed (but didn't) the last one. It helps to be able to watch each episode, i guess.
We don't have cable, so sometimes I check out the website or sometimes I get downloaded shows to watch.
I do enjoy LOST... but will have to wait for the season to come out on DVD or watch from the internet..
